2 months old!

My sweet baby girl is 2 months old! I seriously can't believe it! Please tell me how time goes by so quickly??

My good friend Karen and her husband Joel came to visit us all the way from Texas! It was so good to get to see Karen and catch up! I'm so glad that they got to come and meet Lara!! :-)

Stacey and I had another play date with the girls! They were pretty much on the same schedule this day, so they took a nap at the same time and then were happy as could be! I got lots of cute pictures, but here a few of my favorites!

Snowy Winter

We have had so much snow this year! I have loved every minute of it! I say if it's going to be cold, it might as well snow! :-) I do have to say that I am ready for spring again though!

This day the sun came out so Lara and I bundled up to go take some pictures in the pretty snow!

By the time Hailey came to check Lara out, she was tired of being in the bumbo! But a cute picture anyways!

Busy!

We've been pretty busy the last couple of weeks!

We had our first playdate with my friend Danielle and her little girl Sarina who is exactly 8 months older than Lara!

They had a good time! Soon Lara will be able to respond and play a little more!

Hailey was hoping for at least a little attention! Here she is sitting in Danielle's lap!

Lara has started to really look at other babies and smile! So cute!

A couple of days later we went to a Superbowl party at Danielle's house! We had a great time, and there were lots of kids there of different ages! So exciting to see what Lara will be doing soon! We took our camera but unfortunately didn't even get it out! Lara had a great time just checking everyone out and was a trooper!

A couple of days after the SuperBowl, a bunch of the girls from our church decided to go take advantage of the free Denny's Grand Slam! We had a lot of fun with 6 moms and 6 babies under 1! I'm sure that the other people in the restaurant thought we were a little crazy... One of the waiters asked if we were all related... and when we said no, she asked if we had done a pregnancy pact, like the movie... crazy people...

After we ate we all went over to my friend Caroline's house and had a fun little playdate!

The next day Lara and I decided to go meet Lucas for lunch at his work. I think Lucas really enjoyed getting to see Lara during the day, since he doesn't get to come home for lunch very often! We had a good time and will have to go back again soon!

I am so glad that I am getting to stay home for a few months to get to enjoy Lara and spend some time with my friends during the day! What a special time!
