5 Month Crawling Machine!

Lara is crawling and climbing on everything! She is a mess! ha! I am just loving this stage though! Her little personality is really starting to shine! I love her more every day!!

Memorial Day in Louisiana!

Just realized that this post had not been published! oops! Well here it is...

We made our first long road trip with Lara over Memorial Day weekend. We headed to Louisiana to see our family there and meet my parents and grandparents half-way!

We almost had to cancel this trip because I got really sick a couple of days before we were supposed to leave. After 2 rounds of antibiotics, a penicillin shot, two days of 105 degree fever, a round of steroids, 2 trips to the doctor and 1 trip to the ENT, the doctor told me that I could either be miserable at home, or with my family, so we opted to go ahead and make the trip. I'm so glad that we decided to go! It was so nice to get to see everyone!

Lara did great in the car! She is such a good traveler! :-) We had so much fun getting to introduce her to a while new side of the family!!! And I'm pretty sure they had a good time meeting her! She is really starting to move around now and even started saying "Da-da" while we were there! Of course she prefers Daddy over Mommy ;-) Although she is calling everyone Da-da... but, don't tell Lucas!

Loving Being Outside!

Woohoo! I'm finally caught up on the blog... Well at least with the pictures that I have already put on the computer... Which I haven't done in a few weeks, but anyways, the pictures are much more up to date now!

We have been spending a lot of time outside lately! Lara is loving it! She likes looking at all of the flowers, watching Hailey, soaking up the sun and swimming in the pool!

Here is Lara trying to pull off all of the pretty flowers! Oh well... that don't last that long anyways!

5 Months Old

I can't believe how big my sweet girl is getting! 5 months old! Since Lara is actually almost 6 months old, I'll just wait until that post to say what she is doing at 6 months! I can't remember anymore what she was doing when she turned 5 months old... Ha!

Here is her 5 month leaf picture - We're about to outgrow the leaf... not sure what we'll do to measure after that!
