March - Saying bye to Vovo :-(

So glad Lucas' mom got to come stay with us for three weeks! The girls had a great time getting to see her for so long! As always we were sad to see her go, but so glad that she was able to be here.

The girls were so excited to get to have Granna and Granpa and Vovo here, all at the same time!!!! :-) They got a little spoiled of course, but every girl needs to be a spoiled by their grandparents every now and then!

March Outside Fun!

Mari just loves this cozy coupe! :-) I love all of the big smiles I get while she's in there!

So much fun has been had on this tricycle! So much fun to have a "dump truck" on the back of it. Who knew that it could double as an acorn/rock mover and a baby/animal bed :-)

Mari and her cake!

Mari LOVES dessert and pretty much anything sweet, so I was sure that she would be all about her cake and make a huge, picture-worthy mess! But....

Picture #1 here is a depiction of what Mar thought of eating her very own smash cake in front of 25 of her closest friends and family... Ha! She did get a little more into it once I got her out of the chair, but she was not really a fan!

Happy 1st Birthday Mari!!!!!

Birthday girl Mari with Daddy, Granna and Vovo! So glad that everyone could come for her party!!!!!

So glad that all our friends could come celebrate Mari's first year with us!!

Getting a little teary-eyed thinking about this sweet, precious gift of a girl being 1! Can time please stop just for a little?!

Mari was all about her 'green' food! Kiwi, yummy! Also, her first bday sign stayed on her tray for about 0.5 seconds before she ripped it off :-)

Mari is such a character! She got so excited about every present, but would then scream and holler until we got it open so she could play with it. Oh the drama... Let's just say that she does not take much in life quietly ;-)

March Fun!

Such a descriptive collage of my crazy Lara-bug :-) The clothes, the monkeys, the faces! I love you silly girl!

Love these two big girls! They are growing too fast! I keep asking Lara if she could please stop growing... she always says "NOOOOOOOOO! I want to be a MOMMY!" So we have had to compromise, and she has told me that she will always be my snuggle-bug since she can't stop growing. I guess I'll have to take what I can get...
