Our small group at church (our family here in Huntsville) decided to take a camping trip! The guys and girls without kiddies were going to go Whitewater rafting on the Ocoe River in Tennessee. All of the arrangements were made when we realized that this was supposed to be the hottest weekend of the summer! We decided to brave it anyways!
We decided to stop in Chattanooga at one of our favorite spots, Aretha Frankensteins. They have pancakes to die for! Actually I've never had anything that wasn't fabulous there! So if you are ever in the area, you must stop there!

After we finished eating it was time to head on to the campsite, which was about an hour away. The campground was really nice, and our two spots had big shaded areas! Yay! At least we would have a little break from the heat! The campground also had a little pool, which turned out to be fairly warm, but at least we could cool off a little!

The three kiddies had a great time running around. We stripped them all down since it was so hot. I think that made it even more fun! As Jenny says, the kids were naked camping! :-)

| It was windy!!! Well, when you were standing in front of the fan anyways. We are very thankful that our friends decided to bring along two fans. It was about 100 degrees the whole time we were there, and we might have melted had it not been for a these fans! |

| Loved having the air blowing in her face! I don't think we could have survived without the fans that Josh and Rachel Brought! It was HOT! We had so much fun getting so spend some quaility time with some of our best friends! It is always nice to get away from the every day things and get to relax a bit, even if it is HOT! :-) We stopped at Sticky Fingers in Chattanooga on the way home and had fabulous ribs! What a weekend! |
