The last week of April and the first week of May were CRAZY for us here in Alabama... We had a devastating storm system come through and knock out our power for 6 DAYS (I'll post later on the tornados). Mom and Dad were supposed to come down to watch Lara for us while we went on our long overdue cruise (which we had planned to do for our Honeymoon and for Year 5).
With the power being off, I wasn't sure what was going to happen, but Granna and Granpa came anyways. It was like glorified camping... at least you stil had a comfy bed! ;-) Thankfully the power came back on the morning that we left for the cruise! Yay!
Lara had a GREAT time with them I am sure. Some of my best memories growing up were when I got to go to grandparent camp when my parents went on vacation! It's so nice to be spoiled every once in a while... ok, maybe I'm always spoiled, but still, grandparents let you get away with anything and everything! ;-)
