We made the trek back to Texas. We decided to do it all in one day this time... just to get it overwith! We were happy with our decision until we had to stop in Tuscaloosa to get gas (about 3 hours from home). It was midnight, and Lara had been sleeping great for several hours, and of course woke up while we were getting gas, and was NOT happy about staying in her seat for more time... Thankfully she calmed down after about 30 minutes... but I thought we would have to get a hotel for a few minutes in there...
When we got back to Huntsville, the weather was significantly cooler than Texas, so we enjoyed some nice walks and the park while Bete was still there!
