We were planning to go to Granbury for the 4th of July, but Grammy and Papa wanted to come spend some quality time with the girls first before the masses arrived!  We are so glad that they came to spend some time with us!  The girls had a great time having them there!

One thing I don't miss about living in Texas is the heat in the summer!  But, if you're going to have to endure 100+ degree temperatures, it is always nice to cool off in the pool!!! :-)  Lara has become quite the little fish this summer!  She loves the water and is pretty proud of herself for being able to swim by herself with her 'swimmies'! :-)

We made a trip to the Maybourn Museum at Baylor University while we were in Waco.  It was fabulous!  What a neat place!  Granna and Granpa decided to take her back for a second trip while we were there too!  Reminds me of all the fun I had at the science place with Grammy and Papa when I was young.
