Easter 2011

Beware there are a TON of pictures from Easter Day! We did a tiny Easter Bunny celebration at home, headed to a long day of church (since we went to the early service then both helped out in the second service.) We ran home so Lara could get a quick nap, then headed to our friends John and Stacey's to celebrate with a Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Dinner! It was a fabulous Easter, and so nice to spend time with our "family" that we have here, since our real families couldn't be here!

The Easter Bunny left a little something for Lara....

Spring Flowers!

We made new flowerbeds around one side of the house and put in a new walking path. It was a LONG, tedious process, but we FINALLY got it done! Grammy and Papa had given us Tulips for Christmas, so I was excited about seeing them bloom!

On a side note: Grammy had said that if you put the bulbs in the refrigerator for 60 days that you can plant them whenever you want, rather than having to plant them at a certain time of the year. Well we gave it a try and see for yourself, I think it worked!

Randomness in April

Yes, yes, I know... I'm a bit behind on blogging! But here goes, catching up!

Lara has really started to discover climbing - on the couch, up on chairs, and apparently on top of her play table to read a book! :-)

Silly girl!

We got to watch our friends dog Shooter for a week. He is such a sweet dog, which is a good thing because he is HUGE! He is much nicer to Lara than Hailey is and got all the pets from her that he could!
